Sunday Funday – Portraits at Smedley Park I Philadelphia Portrait Photographer

I should post this in three parts but I’m not going to.:P

On Sunday, a couple of friends and I got together for a photo shoot at Smedley Park in Delaware County . Let me just tell you, by the end of the day I was melting and my legs were killing me! Haha But we had fun and that’s the important thing. Smedley had some amazing creeks, trails and it was great to just spend some time in the great outdoors.

We were even up close and personal with some amphibians. Yes, this little guy or maybe one of his relatives, scared the heck out of me by brushing against my leg as he was hopping by. I must have jumped at least a foot! Haha!!

Okay, let’s get this post started! Alyssa. You’ll probably remember her from my blog a couple months ago.

Meet Jaime. You’ve also seen her on the blog at various times too! Like here at the Winter Classic.

This is Brit. She is new to my blog and recently purchased a Nikon SLR. She was the reason we went to Smedley. Thanks for taking us there, Brit!

It’s here!!

From the moment I first saw these, I just knew I had to have one. Yes, my KISS album has finally arrived!! I say that like it took forever to get here when really it was probably less than 2 weeks.

Albums are a great way to showcase your wedding, engagement or family photos. Plus they’ll help preserve your photos for a long, long time!. Because I’m really trying to make a push and offer my clients these beautiful albums, I thought that I should finally have a sample album to show. In fact, I recently ran a special that gave duplicate 4×4 leather albums to 2 families – sorry folks, that offer is now over. I’ll be sure to show you samples of those albums once they are complete.

Okay, without further adieu, here is my brand new album!! (PS- I used one of my most recent engagement sessions for the photos. Let me just say it’s so great to actually see the images in print!)

Lauren & Brian | Married! – Philadelphia Wedding Photographer

An intimate setting, a beautiful day, your closest friends and family and the love of your life. What more could you ask for on your wedding day? Last Saturday, I got to second shoot Lauren & Brian’s wedding with the ever so talented Nicole Peterson of Girl-Photography. The ceremony, filled with so much emotion, took place in the backyard at Lauren’s parents house and was followed by a champagne toast.

I’m so happy to have been a part of Lauren & Brian’s special day.

That being said, let me show you my new favorite product….the KISS wedding book – but great for family sessions, too! I just designed a sample album for myself from an engagement session – a 10×10 leather album – which I will be sure to blog about once I receive. They even send you emails to let you know what stage of the printing process it’s in – mine’s in the “binding” process. Can’t wait for it to arrive!!;)

You know what else is great about KISS? Since I plan on offering these to my clients, both my portrait and wedding clients, they have photos that you can download from their website to use for marketing – you know, until your dreamy new album arrives!

CLIENT PREVIEW: The H Family | Philadelphia Newborn Photographer

Allow me to introduce to you………Abigail! The sweet, precious, little girl, who had her own agenda.

Julie, Abigail’s mom, had contacted me a few weeks prior to her due date to set up a time for some newborn & family photos. We ended up having to reschedule a few times because Abigail just wasn’t quite ready to make her debut as scheduled. I’m so glad I finally got to meet Julie, Brad and little Abigail.

Oh and I’m going to warn you, the way I am with the Flyers hockey, that’s how Julie and Brad are with PSU football. Even Abigail’s a fan already!;)
