.photographer.

I am a Philadelphia-based photographer with a passion for traveling and photographing families, children, and small, intimate weddings. I’ve been a photographer since 2008 but by day I’m an event planner for a town in New Jersey (think of the show “Parks & Recreation”). Over the years, I’ve realized that I am a great observer. I love to capture the emotion and feeling of what is going on around me. Whether it’s a bride and groom getting married, a newborn baby, or just time spent with family, I’m preserving special moments for my clients that will last a lifetime.

Photography and cameras have always been a part of my life. As a kid I was always snapping photos here and there, and my first job through high school and college was for The Camera Shop/Ritz Camera. It was there that I learned about the inner workings of a camera and even how to develop photos.

.traveller.

I am absolutely, completely OBSESSED with all things travel. If you know me, or have read my blog, you will see that I would miss a meal if it meant I could travel. I love dreaming about the trip, planning for it, meeting new people, and the act of traveling. I hate packing though…but don’t we all?

I’ve been to 9 countries (Italy, France, UK, Ireland, Barbados, Bermuda, Bahamas, Nevis, Canada) and am hoping to add Iceland to my list sooner rather than later. Must. See. Northern. Lights.

.hockey fan.

I love hockey and the Philadelphia Flyers. I’ve been a season ticket holder since the 2009-10 season and am still dreaming of a Stanley Cup win in my lifetime. I came close to seeing one in 2010 but the Blackhawks had other plans. Every so often I even get to combine my love of hockey with my love of travel and see a game or two in a different city. Always a good time!

.this and that.

I’m a big fan of caramel macchiatos, French macarons, Apple products, alternative rock music, sunsets…and sunrises, animals big and small, good food and the company of my friends and family. I’m also a new runner!
